Corpse Bride

Corpse Bride

from £35.00

sage hangover advice in the 1930s was to “take four of these in quick succession”
now nobody’s going to stop you but we advise just the one to put your evening on a great footing.
we have played a little with the classic corpse reviver 2 recipe; a light, fruity and herbal wild vermouth, using organic wine recommended by Caroline Dubois of gorgeous Isca Wines. This vermouth re-imagines the original 1930s kina lillet, less sweet with more angles than the modern version.
bergamot gin is awesomely crisp and dry, the triple sec is seville orange and blood orange and just a background note of exotic bitter wild hogweed seeds, our native answer to cardomom.
it all hangs together with a teaspoon of bergamot marmalade and an absinthe rinse. it’s taken ages to get this one right, made with love, lots of foraging in country lanes and marvellous citrus from Unicorn Grocery.
